BWA Magazine is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes the
personal information we collect through this website at BlackWomenAuthors.net, and/or
BWAMagazine.com (the “Site”), and how we collect and use that information.

BlackWomenAuthors.net. The terms “user,” “you,” and “your” refer to site visitors, customers,
and any other users of the site.

Notice Regarding BWA Magazine Website Launch:
Specific To January 1 st , 2025
As of January 1 st , 2025, all Submission Packages for BWA include posting submitted material
onto the website for a period of ninety days (90 days). After ninety days, submissions must be
renewed, or the material will be removed from the website.
As a courtesy authors who submitted their material to BWA during October, November and
December of 2024, will automatically receive a complimentary ninety-day posting on the website
beginning January 1, 2025 through March 31, 2025. Those authors will receive a renewal
notice prior to March 31 st , 2025, with the option to renew, or their material will be removed from
the website on March 31 st , 2025.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT
This Site only collects the personal information you voluntarily provide to us, which may include:
The information you provide is used to process transactions, send periodic emails, and improve
the service we provide. We do share your information with trusted third parties who assist us in
operating our website, conducting our business and servicing clients and visitors. These trusted
third parties agree to keep this information confidential. Your personal information will never be
shared with unrelated third parties.

Submission Disclaimer for BWA AND It’s Affiliate Entities
By submitting your work to BWA Magazine, you acknowledge and agree to
the terms in Sections 1 and II
SECTION I
1. Originality and Ownership : You affirm that your submission is your original work and that you
hold all necessary rights and permissions to submit it. You are solely responsible for any claims of infringement related to your submission.
2. Usage Rights : By submitting your work, you grant BWA Magazine and its affiliates a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, display, distribute, and promote your submission in connection with the magazine, including on our website, social media, and other promotional materials.
3. No Guarantee of Acceptance : Submissions will be reviewed at the discretion of BWA
Magazine. Acceptance or rejection of your work is at our sole discretion, and we make no
guarantees regarding the inclusion of your submission in any particular issue. However, we make every effort to feature your material for optimal success.
4. No Compensation : There is no compensation or payment provided for submissions,
regardless of whether your work is selected for inclusion in BWA products.
5. Confidentiality : While we strive to handle all submissions with care, we cannot guarantee complete confidentiality from other internet phishing and/or hacking sources. Do not submit any work you consider confidential or proprietary.
6. Liability : BWA Magazine is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm related to your
submission or the use of your submission as described above.
7. No Refunds: All services provided by BWA are non-refundable. Once work has been
received, commenced or is completed, we are unable to offer refunds. If you feel strongly
regarding any Dispute Resolution, please contact us within five (5) business days of receiving the final deliverable. We will make every effort to address and resolve any issues to your satisfaction, but refunds are not available. In this instance report your dispute to
Operations@blackwomenauthors.net.
Section II
I understand that my submission is not complete, nor fully accepted until all submission steps are complete, including any applicable payments have been reconciled.
Submissions are received on a first-come basis, with the following requirements:
A. MS Word or PDF format with Times Roman 12pt font is the preferred format for content
B. Pictures/Graphics should be of good quality and submitted in JPG or PNG format.
C. Please ensure that your document has been scanned for general edits, grammar and
spelling errors prior to submission. In the case excessive editing is necessary, BWA reserves the right to charge an additional fee for their extra time, as well as your submission may not be considered in priority order.
D. Please allow BWA staff up to 5 business days to confirm your status.
